CalculationXL is a component that allows the compilation and execution of Excel workbooks inside of Microsoft Excel for encapsulation, re-usability and protection of Excel functionality. CalculationXL also has advanced auditing features for Excel workbooks. The functionality of CalculationXL can be grouped into three categories: Protection, Compilation & Re-usability and Auditing. |
 |
|
Calculation Server is a component which allows Excel Workbook logic to be deployed and executed in a SQL Server database, or a .NET application. Thus you get re-usability of Excel workbooks outside of Microsoft Excel. This is particularly useful if you want to do the following: Migrate Excel workbook logic to another system; use Excel as a design tool for building logic, to test and then to re-use elsewhere; or move Excel workbooks into a SQL Server database. |
